Float Charger

I think I've read that I will need to keep my Scamp's battery charged over the winter. Would the float charger they have on sale this weekend at Harbor Freight be good for this?

Converter Question

More of a question than an answer here............

Our 16 has the converter with the battery charge wizard built in........I guess I could just leave the trailer shoreline hooked up all winter and charge the battery in-place? (checking the battery water levels of course.)

I will be parking my Scamp

I will be parking my Scamp under a yet to be built cover in my backyard and my battery will be facing the alleyway with only a 4 foot wire fence in between Because of potential theft of the battery, I plan on storing it in my basement. So while I like the ease of plugging in my trailer, I don't think that's an option for me.

Hoping your adventures are wonderful,

We leave ours on a shelf in

We leave ours on a shelf in the basement all winter and it seems to be fine in the Spring.  I really doubt you will lose much charge with it disconnected and sitting on a shelf.
