The two exterior lights (porch and front hitch) on my 2018 13' Scamp no longer work because moisture collected inside the lens and corroded the switches. I can jump the switch and the lights work fine, so I know it's just the switch. Does anyone know where I can get some replacement switches? I've attached a photo to illustrate the style of light I'm dealing with. I've googled around but all the lights I see are a slightly different design... and I never see "parts" for these things. If I can't find replacement switches, I guess I'd have to replace the fixtures - which I know are cheap - but I have no idea how to deal with the rivets (I'm new to the whole fiberglass camper thing, so all of these rivets are like a foreign language to me).
Thanks for any and all assistance!
Oh - and I should add, I've emailed Scamp directly but they have not responded :-(

My porch light was always wet but the hitch light dry. I thought it looked like the porch light base may have been upside down. I changed to a light that I found online. I see that Scamp is using it now. It was not easy to do as a switch had to be added. I fished a wire into the area between the door and screen. I can now turn the light on without opening the door. BTW, the new light was blinding, so I covered it with several layers of yellow tape, then black tape.
Hey Paul,
That is just a fairly common 12v Rocker Switch:

Should be some in this list that would work. Home Depot, Lowe’s, etc May have them where you can pull the one and take it with you to match up. Auto parts stores should stock them as well.

Thanks to you both. I'll check a few local auto parts stores - I hadn't even thought of that!
The switch needs to be water proof. You may need to buy a complete light and to get the switch. That will be the easy way but the light will still take on water. I notice that the writing is upside down, are there drain holes on top??
Could be part of the issue that switch doesn’t look to be exterior/marine type. Auto stores should have the one you need if you show them the switch and explain where it’s installed.
I’d put a bead of pro flex sealant over the top of the light/lens if you keep this one and it should resolve the water issue.

Another option is to move the switch to the door jam between the screen and door sear area. That is where they are on the newer 13's
2019 Scamp 13 standard
Best part of this location is that you can turn it on and look without opening the door if someone knocks.
