Don't forget the matches!

At long last,  we took our "new to us" 13 foot 2005 Scamp out for an overnight practice at a campground near our home in Colorado.  Good thing we did this trial run!  All was going pretty well til we wanted to make dinner. Hmm. No matches and no lighter. We thought about making a run into town but then remembered that most campers are really friendly. Our new best friends from Wisconsin actually gave us their spare lighter!  In return they got a tour of our cute Scamp.

The good news is the toilet works great!  That small bed? Well, we will get used to that. Rain? Who cares!

We are looking forward to more forays including a roadtrip to Seattle area at the end of the summer.

Don't forget the matches

Well Kate, we have all done that...most of us, including me, many times.  Hang in there.

Lighter

Kate, head over to the Dollar Store, a Scamp campers best friend. We found tons of gadgets and cooking utensils, including a match stick for, lighting not only the stove burners but the hot water tank as well. Enjoy your new to you Scamp, as we so much have!
