Dometic cooktop recall

Anyone here have a recall on the Dometic cooktop in their new(er) Scamp?  I believe there was an issue with gas leaking around the control knobs, that could ignite.  I was one of the unfortunate ones...the glass cooktop on my 2022 Scamp was on the recall list.  I could have tried to get the cooktop replaced at an area RV dealer, but I didn't want anyone but Scamp touching my camper.  They knew exactly how it was installed, so they would be best at doing the work.  The lady in the service department did tell me that the silverware drawer that is directly below the cooktop, can make installing the stove somewhat challenging...and she was glad I let them do the replacement.  I live 345 miles from Backus, so it was a long drive up there.  And with the cost of gas, was quite expensive.  If anyone here has a recalled cooktop, they may want to consider having Scamp do the replacement if they don't live too far away...for the reason I mentioned above.  I also remember reading of a horror story where someone took their Scamp to a national RV dealer chain for service...and it was stolen while at the dealership.  Because it takes so long to get a new Scamp, I was not about to take that risk!

Dometic cooktop recall page

Glad you posted, luckily mine was early enough to not be affected.  Here's the info from Dometic if anyone is looking for it:

9600 is the prefix for the affected SKU numbers.  Thankfully, Scamp included the SKU label with the documentation -- At least for me, finding the installed label was impossible.
