I have noted elsewhere the repairs my buddy was doing to the Scamp he bought up in New Mexico. He decided that he would rather go "camping" in in his 42 foot motor home and I am buying the  little baby from him. It is a 1999 we think-need to get vin number- and has been modified a bit. I am guessing it originally had a closet and and space for a port a potty. Was not plumbed for a toilet or holding tanks. Some previous owner removed the wall for the closet or cabinet and the bed there now goes all the way across. interesting addition of wood trim. Will post pics once I get possession, which will take place next Tuesday 5/20/2014. I will be leaving Galveston and driving to Ruidoso, NM should do 400 miles each day. spend Wednesday setting everything up and then return. I hate to do it so quickly but I am a vendor at the local farmer's market every weekend and I have to get ready for that. Still and all I am very excited to be back owing an RV. I have gone from tents to pop-ups, to bumper pulls to a fifth wheel (for five years on the road) to a truck camper to a two different motor homes and now back nearly full circle to a Scamp. Hope to see some of you one day at a gathering. Philip
