Our 1995 Scamp 13' has been in storage a number of years and has acquired a strong odor inside, has anyone used a carpet cleaning machine on the rat fur? My worry is that it will penetrate to the insulation and release the glue. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Carpet Cleaner?
We use the Bissell Green Machine to clean the rat fur. Does an excellent job.

Read this last night and bought a Bissell Little Green at WalMart this morning for our new to us camper. Used it today and it took every spot off the rat fur. I am very pleased. Thanks for the info.
Our new-to-us, 20-year-old 19' has some mildew stains in the corners of what we are affectionately calling the "Stateroom"--the upper sleeping area. Have any of you used the Bissell Little Green Machine to clean mildew off the rat fur? Thanks for any advice!

It did an excellent job on our 1997 19 Scamp rat fur, but not sure if any of it was mildew since we're in AZ. I woul think it woul clean it up pretty well though.
