Can a 12V antenna boost be replaced with a 12V USB outlet?

Howdy gang. Doing a few light modifications to a newly purchased 1996 16' trailer and I have two 12V antenna boosters that I'd like to remove (one above side dinette, another above the kitchenette).

Can these safely be replaced with 12V USB charging outlets? They seem like great spots for dedicated phone charging stations.

USB Charging

Here are all kinds of options  https://amzn.to/3hvBFz8

Some could just plug in the existing 12v outlet without having to change  them out. Other wall type outlets could replace them. Should be 12v supply coming into these, so it should be fairly easy to swap them.

Add not change

My choice (if there is room) would be to add one of the above charging ports, with a voltmeter. Beside the antenna connection.

Thanks!

Great - it sounds like this is a pretty safe modification.

I hadn't considered the value of a voltmeter, so thanks for the tip!
