I'm leaving Sunday to head for Minnesota to pick my Scamp up on Wednesday. I'm looking to spend a few days camping in the vicinity to make sure everything is working right.
Is there a preferred or recommended campgrround nearby to do this? What are my options?
Thanks in advance.
Itasca State Park is an hour away but is the start of the Mississippi river. It was my first night out with my Scamp.(Second was dispersed camping at Six Mile lake.)
+1 for Itasca State Park. great campground with nice sites.

We camped three nights at Sunset Pines, very close to the factory. They have some full hookups and several water/electric, as well as a dump station used only by us while we were there. It was a great place for us to master a dump station :)
We were happy to be there 3 nights and so close, as we needed several things adjusted on our new 2019 Scamp 13, and we got to know the service guys as well as the across-the-street cafe staff very well!
How many have had issues within days of picking up new? We will be picking up our new Lite next month and we live in California, so a long way for us to drive back if something isn't right from the factory. We are thinking of staying somewhere close the first night, but how many had stuff show up in days of pick up?
Here we are at Sunset Pines after pick up earlier this week. No issues noted except they missed the "Lite" sticker on the door side as seen in pic. Scamp is sending the graphic to us since we are now back home in California. I didn't notice it was missing until we returned. Pulled easily with our hybrid Lexus NX but the mileage suffered greatly.
