Black and Gray water hose storage?

Hi,

We're getting a new Scamp 19ft 5th wheel next month. We were wondering where people store their black and gray water hoses.

Thanks in advance,

Barry and Gina

I use one hose for both, I

I use one hose for both, I store it in a tube attached to the front of the trailer under the window above the propane tank.  The picture at this link looks like its the same thing https://camping.lovetoknow.com/Scamp_Travel_Trailers

it works pretty well, although I'd really love to have the 4"x4" rear bumper so I could store it there.  It would also allow me to hook up a rear bike rack, so we're considering having one added to the trailer by a welder, if we can figure out how to move the rear stabilizers.  I think newer models may have that bumper (ours is a 2000), if so, you can drill through the bumper and the endcaps, add a long screw with a wingnut on the end for both ends, that would give you a secure place to store the hose for about $5!

hose storage

The sewer hose storage has moved around a little on the 19 over the years but most had the PVC storage tube.  Dump the black tank first and then the gray, that will rinse the hose out. Stop by Harbor freight and get the cheap nitrile gloves $7 / 100. You will also need a fresh water hose, I use a white one from Walmart, a pressure regulator ($10 at Walmart and up to $90 for a good adjustable one with a gauge) , and some people use a water filter as well. You can’t buy everything at once, but the dedicated fresh water hose and a regulator are a must. Have fun.

Following up

Thanks for your replies. I did get a hold of Scamp yesterday and they told me that now they mount a hose tube holder under the unit. And yes, my bad, gray and black water is used with one exit hose. Duh. Thanks again
