Hi there, My husband and I just got back from Backus MN where we ordered our 13' Scamp. We are long term tent campers who transitioned to an Aliner Scout 10 years ago. We have loved the bare bones Aliner but wanted to stop the significant amount of set up and take down required when we are taking long road trips. We'd been looking at Scamp for a very long time but were put off by the 44" bed. Now that a bigger bed is an option and we could get a unit without a bathroom, we were in. We pick up our Scamp in July...13", air and furnace, 54" bed, no bathroom. 

We are both 58, no kids, no pets and take 2 week road trips a few times a year. I really liked the Aliner but there were some drawbacks in addition to the set up. The angle of the roof sharply reduced actual living space. My husband could not sit up at the table and the bed was not terribly comfortable for whoever was in the inside angle. The Scamp will eliminate these problems and we can tow it with our Jeep. 

We were so glad to find a small towable that was exactly what we wanted and not a lot of things we didn't want. Can't wait to pick up our Scamp in July and get on our way. If anyone knows a good place to sell the Aliner, let me know! Thanks!
