adding shock absorbers?

Hello!

We have a 2016 13' Scamp that we love. We've got about 8,000 miles on it, and I'm concerned about all the bumps and pot holes it invariably has to ride through. Would it be advisable to install some sort of additional shock absorbers to minimize the pounding? Any suggestions?

I have no direct experience, 

I have no direct experience,  but a friend of mine bought a 16' Casita, and he added shock absorbers to it.  He said it would lengthen the life of the torsion suspension.
