81 scamp

I have two breakers in my scamp ( I guess no converter) and I finally bought a battery. I usually camp with electric but if I go non electric will the battery only operate the light? No outlets correct? Don't really know much about having a battery in there if anyone can share info please.

Lights and other

Are you sure you have no converter most Scamps had them? What do the two breakers feed? Did the 12 volt items work when plugged in before you added the battery? The 12 volt items like lights, water pump, and fans, should run on  the converter or the battery.  And no the convertor, Florescent light, the air conditioner and the 120 volt out lets will not work unless plugged into a 120 volt hookup.

It was stripped down when I

It was stripped down when I bought it. No water tanks, no propane, no a.c or fan. I just need lights and a way to charge phone and such when at non electric spots. Is it a inverter that I need?

No inverter needed

What ever you use to charge your phone in a car will work in the RV. If you do not have a 12 volt "power point" it is cheap to add one. You can add the same type as in your car or add a USB port. Both are cheaper than an inverter and easy to install. Mine came with the power point and I added the USB port beside it.
