Hi, just bought a used 1994 Scamp 13. I'm getting no response from the heater when turning it on, no sounds or anything. The propane stove and lights from battery work so I at least know those are functioning. I tried the Scamp manual recommendation of turning on the stove propane for a couple minutes which didn't work. I'm very new to this so any help/input would be appreciated!
Just a thought. On my 2019 the T Stat was electronic and battery powered from a pair of AAA batteries inside. and the t Stat switch needs to be put in the heat mode and fan in auto if optional They are necessary for the call for heat. The fan/blower should run for 10-15 secconds and then call for the heater gas valve to open. There must the blower operating first. I have seen where mud daubers had gone in thru the outside Inlet/exhaust port and completely jammed the blower wheel and then nothing can happen. a good 12-14 volt check at the plug is also where to start. Do you have the documentation for the furnace. It can be helpful and has a schematic for wire colors.

First issue, among many that can cause problems with furnace, is that it sounds like no power to furnace. Usually the fan will start up even if the propane/ignition portion are having problems.
You can bypass the thermostat by removing the two wires on the back side and just touching them together. If still nothing happens, then your thermostat is probably ok.
Check the fuse for the furnace next and then get the multimeter and make sure power is at the furnace.
