16 Foot, Layout 4

I picked up my 16 ft, layout 4, in Backus this past June. Since purchase, wife and I have been on numerous camping trips, some just her and I and some with our grandchildren. Having the bathroom, especially with the kids was fantastic. No trips to the bathroom in the middle of the night. The couch in the front was nice and worked great when we converted to bunk beds for the grandchildren. All said, we are extremely happy with our 16 ft , layout 4.

Re: 16 ft layout 4

We picked up our layout 4 just 10 days ago in Denver, and camped home to N Calif. Discovered that being older and larger, it wasn't easy to climb over each other to use the can at night. Also found that it was impossible to get into the front lower bunk with the poles in place. Quick work with a screw driver removed the backrest/top bunk and made nice bench/bed for an adult. Can use throw pillows if they are wanted up front, and Joy gets plenty of room for her and the dogs. The space in front of the toilet/shower is unused, so I plan to make some cuddies above the bed to stash clothes and personal stuff that comes off at night. Loving it and learning more about it every day.

The cool kids play outside.

I have had a 16-4 for three

I have had a 16-4 for three years...

Bathroom is nice to have but small.  Have you seen one?  You should.

Front bunk / sofa next to the bathroom is mostly wasted space, except for storage or a child sleeping.
