Glad I found a group strictly dedicated to the Scamp line of fiberglass campers. I'm on the books to pick up my 19 footer in mid-may of 2018 so unfortunately I have a while to prepare and edicucate myself. I say unfortunately only because I don't really want to wait but production being what it is that's just the way it goes. I'm getting the delux trimmed in oak floor plan "A". I've added every bell and whistle I felt relevant. Really looks like a solid unit and from what I understand will more than likely last me the rest of my life. I'm gonna drag this thing all over the western USA and my wife has consented to come along.
Looking forward to talking with you all.

9 months like waiting for a baby. We have an 150 and I want to use OEM brake controller so its tucked away and comparable with our dash. Any comments? First trip around the UP then to Chicago to get 2 grandsons for Niagara.

Ray,
What are going to pull it with?

Hello again,
Thanks for the replies. Yes I will keep in touch as we travel around. I'm gonna pull my Scamp with a Toyota Tacoma, V6, 4X4, 6spd automatic, tow package, long bed, double cab, whew! That's a mouth full. I already talked with the factory and they will be installing the hitch for me. The only thing I have to do is pick up a brake controller. I've been out west before (I currently live in South Carolina) my wife and I took a cross country motocycle trip on a 2006 Honda GL1800 Gold Wing. Such a blast. We went to most of my bucket list places but there are a few left. This will be a much slower rate of travel. Taking lots of time to enjoy the trip.
