Looking for any ideas for cabinet doors mostly the one under the couch finding the door that is on there now screws will not hold on they are to small for the door but if they were any longer they would come out the other side. Thinking of making a drawer or just leave open and trim out the edges. Thank you for any input.

cabinet doors, ideas
Can't you use through bolts to replace the original wood screws?
I always would coat the screws with a good wood glue and then screw them in and let it setup for 24 hrs. Never seemed to have a problem with them coming out again.
The through bolts could work as well. I'd use a small washer on the face of the cabinet under each bolt and another one on the back side of the hinge. You can get black bolts so they'd hardly even show.

After 30 years of stripped cabinet screws on campers I agree with Greg GLUE!
But not just any glue, Gorilla Glue.
Coat the thread with a dab and screw it in but done over tighten. Even if its totally stripped just push it in and leave it. You can even get it out afterwards even if you want to!
Remember only a dab because it expands and don't get it on your skin or it will have to wear off.
Actually be carful to not get it on anything it is truly permanent unless wiped with solvent (harsh stuff) before it dries
It even secures screws in stripped MDF
