Small portable printers

Anyone using a portable printer in their Scamp?  Am looking at small ones that a body can live with in a wonderful 13' Scamp named "Lil Critter"

Small printer

I have an HP Deskjet 460 which I've had for quite a few years.  It's roughly 13 w x 6 1/2 d x 3 h.

Mine takes a couple different size memory cards.  I've used it to print pictures as I travel.  I held a gathering one time and used it to print an updated attendee list for all participants.  I also printed the group picture which I handed out to everyone.

I always carry it with me while traveling as it comes in handy for personal items as well, such as a campground confirmation that I might need while checking in.

Thanks Joy and Earl.

Thanks Joy and Earl.

Sounds like no one has had problem with the things thumping around in a Scamp.  I am looking at the HP http://www.staples.com/HP-Officejet-100-Mobile-Printer/product_918452 .  If I do not see anyone complaining about it before I get back from a little Scamp-about around eastern WA and western ID, I will go ahead and order one.

I always appreciate every ones input...."Learn from the mistakes of others, you will not live long enough to make them all yourself."    ;>)

Small Printer

I have a small Epson XP300 printer I carry with me.  I usually use it to print my diary pages when on the road.  I also use it to make personalized "name" buttons for our fiberglass gatherings when at the gathering site.  I will be using it at the Scamp Camp Far West in May, and the Nor Cal Roundup in September.   - - Earl

If you haven't alraedy gotten

If you haven't alraedy gotten a small printer, their are usually some aged but perfect Cannon BJ 85 ( I think) on Ebay. they can even be run on batteries. I had one for years in the truck camper. It even had a "swap out" for a scanner head that actually worked. As a side note, I set up a 2000 watt inverter on the truck camper, built a 3' long adapter cable and could just plug in the shore power cord dircetly to the Inverter. I installed an on/off switch for the CONverter SO IT WOULDN'T TRY TO RUN off the battery and inverter. then all I needed to do was keep the ice box set to propane. I know this sounds convoluted but it meant that all plugs were usable, would support the Dircet tv box and a TV with no extra wiring. I could use the computer while recharging and printer also. PG

Small Printer

I purchased the HP Office Jet 100 printer and used it while on a recent trip to Arizona.  It worked fine with our Acer laptop computer.  It is small enough that we can easily carry it on the end of the couch with the closed laptop.

Only time will tell if it can stand up to the riggers of Scamp travels.
