Problem solved

"...not going to get around to doing to much till it cools down again out here...". what an excuse; at that rate neither of you will have to pick up so much as a wrench until late Fall.

In the mean time, Launey can put a board from the pickup down to the hitch so all you have to do is slide it down whenever you want to use it, problem solved and you don't have to disturb his relaxation time!!  Gee, you don't have to thank me, just glad to help :)

Generator

Hi Jim,

Nice work on the platform. My only question is the power cord is on the drivers side rear, does it reach up there I can't recall if it's long enough?

Greg,

Greg,

I didn't pay attention to the length of the cord when I used it at Quartzite, so I pulled it all the way out and found that it reaches the generator, with nine more feet of cord available. If they are shorter now, it may be that Scamp provided a longer cord in the early 80's when copper was cheaper!
