Entry Step

The Scamp entry step leaves something to be desired, as half of it is in under the trailer because of the curved body. I'm curious if anyone has satisfactorily modified this design. This is a safety issue!

Scamp Step

While at the factory I had a retractable step welded on the frame for a retractable step for our Scamp, and we love it.

We bought a new one for our 19 while we were at the factory getting a new hitch.  It was an easy installation, it required adding two pieces of angle iron for support.  My tired old legs didn't like the big step up.

This what we use. It is real wide and very stable non slip top. Got it for about $60 from amazon. Made of steel they also sell them made of Aluminum. when on the road we have a plastic one for quick use.
