lol Greg, your Scamping spidey senses must be tingling, I was just setting reminders for making reservations for King City and Bandon 2016. Planning out next summer before this summer is even half way done. Going thru a little withdrawal, been on business travel and have not been out since May. Booked for a week in July, a week in August, and Nor Cal in September though. Trying to see what I can fit into October and doing more rallies next year ;)
That is actually a type of camping similar to Boondocking. There are "street" campers who actually have quite a methodology in how to get free camping in major cities without getting caught or running into problems.
So I guess you get credit for your Street Camping! When you recover some, we'd love to have you write up some of your campgrounds and experiences in the travel corner so folks can experience the ups and downs of your awesome trip.
No we havent gotten an awning as yet Geg, hubby is still thinking about what he wants and how he wants to do it. Eating out side would be fine with me,but the problem comes in that lots of time,we leave Nv and head for Ks{family there} and on the way we just stop in rest areas or Walmart parking lots to sleep...couldnt very well put the table out and set up an awning in those places lol....Well guess we could, but Im not gutty enough to do that...When we just go somewhere to camp for a while,we set up everything of course.
I am so jealous Deb that your camper goes in your garage! We would love to be able to fit ours in,the door just isnt high enough for clearance and our hoa probably wouldnt like it changed lol//////So we just pay a pricey fee each year for inside storage down the road from home. And sorry Greg about the spelling of your name.duh on me..I could eat on the front of the bed,but the hubby is ole school and likes the table and since he's the one that keeps putting it up and down and up and down,I am not complaining
Parking in the garage was a huge decision factor for me. Especially since I was buying used and it would be my winter project piece, it had to be close. I have no RV parking and a pretty nosey HOA so the height and length were a consideration, hence no a/c, no raised axle, etc. I love having it so accessible!!
Deb,We really wanted to try and get ours in the garage, have a 3 car garage but the problem is the heighht on the door.It would just be so much convienent to have it here at home,I am glad that you were able to get yours in since its a wonderful place to work on them,we did not order the roof top AC as we dont care for them up there,Maybe will put one in a cabnit when the camper goes out of warrenty in Nov unless hubby decides to go ahead and trade up to the 16.He just hasnt made up his mind :-(..You have done wonders with your lil scamp, making it all your own I love what you have done

Does that count? One week of my 3 weeks on the road was spent in the street in front of my friends' house in MT!

Sorry missed the earlier post with the same comment.
Those two trailers have been listed available for immediate sale since the the Scamp website was updated a couple of years ago.
