Our Scamp 13 didn't have city water and only a hand pump for the onboard water. Converting it over to a bar faucet with city water on the cold side and onboard running water on the hot side of the faucet.
To do the city water side we purchased JR Products 160-85-A-26-A Polar White City Water Flange with 1/2" MPT
Next we marked the shell with where to cut in for the inlet. Used a protactor drawing set.
Next we masked the area to be cut out with painters tape to prevent fiberglass chipping and drilled two pilot holes for the jigsaw blade.
Drilled the three anchor holes and removed the masking.
Put butyl tape behind the inlet flange and around the rivet barrels and popped the rivets.
Clean up excess butyl and done with the exterior. I'll post the interior shots when completed.
Time for job 45 minutes. Cost $19.

On the inside of the trailer we are also replacing the hand pump with a Shur flo revolution onboard pump to the Hot side of a new bar faucet and adding the city water to the Cold side of the faucet.
First step was to remove the hand pump and drill the holes for the new bar faucet.
Test fit on the new faucet
Now the problem with trimming the giant hole left by the hand pump. I lucked out and found a stainless door trim in the door dept at the depot that was the exact size needed and only around $8.
Everything mounted up and City Water side is Live!

1). I just put in a gray water tank. Could I reuse my drain outlet for city water? Re plumbing with clean tubing to the faucet of course
2). So am I understaning right? Both faucet handles draw cold water? Depending on if you have hookups or not? Or is your onboard water (plus pump) going thru a hot water heater full time? I'm hoping the former as I would like to do the same ;)

The city water inlet I use a braided hose which connects to the cold water side of the new bar faucet. It only works if attached to city water. The onboard tank and new pump supply the hot water side of the new faucet and only works if you switch on the onboard pump. Both are just cold running water, no hot water heater. I've personally never been a fan of the hand pump and prefer running water. This conversion will cost around $150 for shurflo pump, faucet, inlet, braided supply hoses, chrome door trim panel, depending on the faucet you select. I got the bar faucet at Ace for around $15.
You could use the old drain outlet for the new city water inlet. Just check the clearance for everything, but it will probably fit ok and would be great use of that now that you don't need it..

I have the pump and a single source faucet installed. That was the first thing I did...such an easy upgrade. Do not get why anyone would deal with the toggle. But I love the idea of adding the ability for city water. Was thinking a " standard" hot/cold faucet with 2 colds but was not sure if it would work... looks like I've got another project on my list ;)

This is the second 13 Scamp I've converted with a standard bar faucet. It works great with the city water when available and the onboard pump on the other. When you went to the single faucet for your onboard pump did you have the big hand pump hole? If so, how did you cover that? I've always found a stainless plate like above, but I'm sure others have come up with creative solutions.

I got this plexiglass scrap for free from my local plastics retailer (TAP Plastics). Painted the underneath side as it was slightly translucent and you could see the outline of the old hole before I painted it. Taped it off with painters tape once installed and gave it a nice clean tight white seal to keep splashes from getting under and dripping below
I saw you SS trim piece and I really like the way it looks with the SS sink!

I'm working to see if there is a solution to the pics. If they are taken with a cell phone and are portrait the rotation properties get ignored. Wierd universal problem that is showing up at many upload sites. I open my portrait pics with Adobe Photoshop Elements 13
and then just hit save. When I upload them after that they are correct.

Our 2006 16' came with city water to a single faucet next to a pump for on board water. I got tired of the hand pump always losing prime so I put a 12v pump in line next to the tank, left the hand pump as is, and added a waterproof push-button switch next to the sink. The water flows just fine through the hand pump, but if I did it again, I would mount the push-button on the side wall next to the sink. That would eliminate any water leak problems and let me push the button with my elbow.

Finally got my new taller hot/cold faucet installed. Also removed the original "bucket drain" that's has become obsolete with the addition of the gray water tank and replaced it with a city water valve. Hooked the onboard water (powered by 12v Shur-Flo pump previously installed) to the cold side and the new city water feed to the hot side
No leaks so far. I'm going to leave it pressurized (lowish pressure) overnight just to be sure while I am home

BTW, anyone else wish they would make the under cabinet even smaller and more awkward to work in? NOT
