Solar panels

#1Guy is going to install solar panels on the roof of my 13', which he's done on his 5th wheel. He's wondering if anyone has a suggestion for what adhesive or double-side tape to use to glue the panels to the roof.

We could also use suggestions - with pictures - of options for the propane tanks and batteries on the front.

Thanks!

Thanks, Greg, for info. #1Guy made a folding set of panels for the 13' (which I don't even have in my possession yet) but will also put some on the roof. He gets enough solar power on his big 5th wheel with roof panels that I can do everything I want except run the hair dryer on high speed or run the microwave. The combined options on the 13' should light it up like a Christmas tree.

solar panels installed on 13' Scamp

Mel (aka #1Guy) has just completed the installation of the first solar panel, which is on the roof of the driver's side of the Scamp. The next one will be trickier because of the awning so he did the easy one first to learn the technique. We plan to be at the Lanesboro MN gathering the end of May if anyone would like to inspect the finished project. In the meantime, I'll try to figure out how to take and post pictures. Between the roof solar and the sandwichboard panels that he made, the camper should be almost self-supporting.
