we recently purchased a new 16 scamp- traveled to Maine we lke the Scamp-only isssue is the rear window keeps sliding open ,letting in dirt- any suggestions

Without seeing it, hard to say.You have a 2014, wouldn't that fall under a warranty call to Scamp Trailers?

We added a screen door lock to ours, works using a thumbscrew. Ours kept opening too, but the lock keeps the latch in the locked position so it doesn't bounce open anymore. Bought a set of two at Home Depot.

We had the same problem, however, I noticed that if I shut the window then play with the lock (bracket) on the window I can get the window to stay shut. I test the window by pulling it with the palm of my hand to make sure it won't open. The bracket needs to be in just the right position to keep the window closed.
