While searching for incite of how my scamp was wired, I was unable to find the information I needed. So, this information may be helpful to many. I am a retired class A journeyman electrician. I was thankful of my back ground which helped me solve my problem. Perhaps this will help others. First, the negative from the battery runs around the entire trailer ending at refrigerator. The positive wire is split in the front closet; one wire is fused (20A) the other is not. The fuse is for the first three lights...bath and front table. The other three lights are fused (20A) in the power panel. Power for all the other appliances are fused in the power panel. To my knowledge there is no fuse under the back bunk. Also, the positive, 12vdc is constant at the 12 volt lights. The negative is switched.

Scamp Wiring
Hi Rootbeer
Thanks for your post above. I have a couple of questions you may know the answers to:
1) Where exactly is the fuse located in the front closet before I start taking apart the wiring harness?
2) The Maxxfan shower vent has it's own fuse, which appears fine, but the fan is not turning on. Is there another fuse downstream for it (i.e. the fuse in the front closet)?
Please advise and thank you!
/Ed
I have a fuse under the front bunk (directly on the battery wire). I contacted scamp and they told me to leave it as extra security. Some models don't have it, I guess it depends on the equipment.
I have rewired my entire scamp 16" because wires/connections were corroded and everything started to flicker.
