I've not tried towing myself yet. My partner has an F150 and he towed it and said it was very light and easy. I'm not sure the first time I'll be taking it out with the Maverick but I'll update ya when I do. I don't think I'll actually need the sway bar unless the conditions are particularly rough winds.
That blue is so nice in contrast to the white. I really like it. It looks so nice and cozy. I ordered mine this week and it's suppose to be ready the 2nd week in October. Thanks for sharing your pics of your cute Scamp Lite.
Just picked up our new red Lite this week and drove it back to California. Our 2022 Lexus NX 350h towed it easily except our gas mileage was only about 19 mpg when it typically can hit 40+ without the trailer. That was disappointing but still glad to have the hybrid mileage the rest of the time.
I'm really glad we got the sway bar as it was rock solid the whole time even when huge semi trucks passed and through strong winds. No electric brakes were not a problem and it felt about the same as it does without the trailer. I would say pulling the Lite having no prior towing experience was a breeze. On our return home, we camped in Grand Teton with overnight lows in the 30s and did not regret forgoing the heater option and the MaxxFan worked so well, we doubt we will regret skipping the A/C as well. Mostly planning on using it all along the west coast in California, Oregon and Washington where we will always be going to the ideal weather areas. We also noticed it is quiet inside. Multiple times there were loud noises going on in the campgrounds which we could not hear inside.
That sounds like a great trip! I've been enjoying mine in the woods on the weekend. I did end up towing it with my Maverick and the MPG wasn't terrible, but it was all back roads, no highway. I'm glad you shared the experience with the sway bar, I don't have mine attached yet, but I think when I take this on my long road trip this weekend I may want it for the interstates. Lowest I've gone so far temp wise is 38, which reminds me I wanted to see about getting a little thermometer for the inside. Totally agree on the fan vs AC!
I guess I am boring because I got the white bottom. My Ford Hybrid Maverick is white so I wanted it to match. I really like that blue as well. When I went to pick mine up they had one of each color right out in the front. I opted for the Air Conditioner, heat strip and soft start. I also got the Max-fan, door grip, step and lithium battery setup. I had them add the dual propane tank holder and cover. I will use that for my grill, fire pit and my generator if I am ever where there is no shore power and/or I need to charge up my battery. I did add a latex topper for the 54" bed, which made it so much more comfortable. Overall I just love this thing.
I have had a couple of issues. I had a screw on the Max Fan come out, but was able to fix it. I also had a screw from hinge on the cabinet door under the bunk bed/couch area come off. This one doesn't appear to have been installed properly. The hinge is bent now and I am going to have to call Scamp to replace it. Other than that, it's been solid. I expect with road vibration there is going to be some lose screwed here and there. I will say the strip from Backus back to Louisiana was great, I did it over 4 days and camped in Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri and Arkansas. Have either of you had any issues?

Ok, thanks and enjoy!
Did you see they updated the base price by $1k?
Yes, I noticed that yesterday. Glad we bought when we did since there are no changes on the Lite model for 2025!
If they would just put a heater in this, I'd sell my current Scamp and get one of these! In any case, they look nice. I like the new windows.
