How to determine Scamp Value

Hello All. The wife and I have decided to sell our 2017 16' Scamp standard layout #5.I have a good friend that wants it. I am trying to figure out a reasonable price for it. I want a fair market price but am unsure about how to figure that out. I know that is a loaded question but there must be some place a person can get a good idea.I have seen from hi to low and every where in between. Any ideas?  Thanks  JohnB

Keep looking at this website

Keep looking at this website/members trailers for sale and http://fiberglass-rv-4sale.com to determine what the market is.  We also used FB Scamp groups bc they have Scamps listed there too.  And it depends what your friends line of work is...fair deal plus pastries or steaks...maybe even doughnuts and painting the house?  Everything depends on the layout and options, well maintained, clean etc...good luck and your friend is lucky! lol

New price?

Mine also is a 2017 and if I were to sell it I would start at what I paid new. It is well maintained and in near new condition. Add to that the inflation of recent years and that it is all ready to go, so no waiting for it to be built. You can always lower the price if needed. Many old ones are selling for MORE than what they sold for new. Good luck and no mine is not for sale.

Scamp Value

When I first started to look for a  value I found a web site  entered info and they later got in  touch with me. A couple of days later I got an email from RV Camping World in Fargo North Dakota and they stated that my scamp was worth $7200.00  and if consigned with them $7850.00......... OK  So I responded that I had gotten with the bank and had my answer  thank you.  got to be careful these days
