Curious Future Buyer

Good day all, I love the look of these trailers and am looking to move away from My class C. I have watched a bunch of youtube videos and read some of the forum comments. The only problem is, I would really like to step inside one to really get a feel for the size. I would probably want to get a 13' as most camping will just be me, my two kids and a dog. I am used to tent camping, so small spaces aren't a deal breaker for us. Is there anyone located close to Wilmington, NC that would allow me to see and step inside their trailer? We do have a direct flight to Minneapolis from our local airport, and I am considering taking a weekend trip up there with a stop in Backus, but I think my wife would be happier if I didn't spend the amount of money that trip would cost, lol. Thanks in advance!!

we stopped

We too went from a 26 foot class "C" to a 13 with bath  If you contact Scamp they often have people on file willing to show their trailer.  We made the trip to Backus to see and explore the different versions and options.  We loved ours but decided to move up to a 17 Casita last year.  We still miss our 13 Scamp sometimes.

I live in Durham so not too close. Plus mine is a 2012 13' with bath so maybe not what you are looking for but if you find yourself up this way you are welcome to check it out

FB Scamp Groups

My suggestion would be to ask about seeing someone's Scamp in your home area on one of the two main Facebook Scamp groups.  "Scamp Travel Trailers" is an open group, so you could join it and ask your question, or "Scamp Owners of America" is a closed group you can also join to ask your question. I've seen several people do just that, and with success. People want to help with that.  We ourselves are in Iowa, so are not much use to you that way, I'm afraid.
