I was curious if anyone out there had suggestions for this configuration. Charging tips, range, etc.....Thanks in advance!
I have no experience to share beyond having a Ford focus electric. With class 2 hitch for bike rack and using my Harbor freight trailer for runs to the nursery and home Depot. It works fine for short round town runs but noticeably less range as expected. Does the model "Y" have a 2,000 trailer capacity or greater. Even our 2019 13 with bath and AC was totally maxed out on a Subaru crosstrek 6 Spd manual with 1,500 rating. Mileage was reduced almost 50% from 33 down to 17-18 at 55-60 in flatland Illinois and ohio. One can assume similar reduction with a "Y"

Thanks. Towing capacity is 3500. Will be interesting to see range this summer. I will post with results. Also curious how to connect to a charging station with a Scamp in tow.
Class 1, 2, 3?
did not notice if you are running a Brake controller and who does the install. A critical piece of infrastructure needed to safely pull more than a thousand Lbs. and Do you have a House battery charge wire in your 7 way plug coming from the 12 volt battery that runs your accessories. Those can pull 13+ amps just to feed the trailer battery and fridge . Many small yet important things to consider with even a tiny Scamp 13. Good luck and keep us posted.
