portable toilet

My 13' Scamp is to be done in March 2023.  I am looking for a portable toilet that uses those cassette bags so there is no mess and no smell.  Is there one that fits under the bottom bunk space?  Has anyone used one? Any advice on portable toilets is welcome.

We use a PETT brand toilet,

We use a PETT brand toilet, and are quite happy with it.  It doesn't fit under the bunk when it's set up, but it folds flat.  We leave our dinette set up as a bed full time, and we stash the PETT underneath there, but I'm pretty sure it would fit under the bunk too.

Thanks, Dave.  I have not seen those in my search, but will check them out.

Hi! I use a Thetford porta potty model # 345...It's the only model, I believe, that will fit into the cubby under the couch. I LOVE it!! Perfect for the Scamp 13'... You can use the dissolving granules to keep it smelling clean, it is super easy to use and empty, and this model uses the piston pump which is better and lasts longer than the other kind. I'm able to go multiple days before I have to empty it. You can compare and buy on www.Thetford.com, where you can also watch videos. It is a very clever and practical design. It can also be purchased on Amazon for slightly less. Good luck!

Portable Toilet (Just an Idea!)

I find that the portable toilets are too low for comfortable sitting. I'm getting old! We also found that getting in and out of our 13 Scamp was hard on the knees. I made a step (11x18x6") to ease the knees. That step is also just big enough to set the portable toilet on for more comfortable sitting.

I checked out the Thetford. It looks very easy. Thank you for the advise.
