Yesterday was a pretty exciting day. We now have our Scamp 16 home. Started getting all the trash out and cleaning the outside. We are amazed the exterior is in such great condition under all the moss and dirt. Noticed a lot of the plastic rivet covers need replacement. Just wanted to share photos.
Wow, can't wait to see the pics of another "Swamp Thing" transformation!
Glad you got it home safely and are starting the process. Maybe you can make Scamp Camp Far West in May, we got about 7 extra sites this week so there's still room.

I just ordered and received, and installed all the LED bulbs in our trailer! Easy, as the bases are exactly the same as the 1156 original bulbs. Even the porch light was the same.

We just got our 2002 16' foot baby home and my wife wants to replace all the bulbs as well, with LED. Can you point me in the direction to get them so I can give her the info?

Watch Camping World and get in their mailing list. I got my bulbs on sale, and they are great! If ever out there off the grid, the battery will last much longer as the LED bulbs just sip energy!

Just a little back story on our new treasure. We are both Realtors. One of us since 1978. My parents were full time RV-ers and Jane's converted a bus into an amazing RV. So RV-ing is in our blood you could say. Anyway a fellow Realtor got word we were looking for a small trailer and found this beauty tucked away on a secluded parcel. The property is part of an estate. The heirs felt it was an eyesore. Lucky for us!!!! So for $100, a lot of patience and very helpful friends we are now the proud owners of this beauty. The outside is starting to look great. The inside is pretty bad. Partially gutted and mice infested. It's a 16 ft with side dinette. We couldn't be more excited! So we'll share pictures of our journey. As I said before, I'm sure we'll have lots of questions. We just became lifetime members. We look forward to meeting lots of new Scamp friends.
