Congrats on the new Scamp! I also tow with a 4runner, though I have a 16'. It's a great TV for the Scamp, no issues like people often report with inadequate TVs. I do get some porpoising when tires are aired up to the recommended 68 PSI, I have not found a solution for that yet.
I'm making a trip to Backus in a couple weeks myself, to have them address a door gap on the bottom, and a gel coat failure in the rear. Also going to make it a trip with a few stops.
