2021 16' Scamp..I keep the rear table set up as a bed. I just ordered a Scamp Mattress Shell with Foam from Magic Sleeper after sleeping on the cushions and in a sleeping bag for a year. Does anyone have advice about bedding? I'd like to do a fitted sheet, flat sheet, then a duvet on top (which I already have). The problem is finding a simple way of getting the flat sheet tightly on the mattress so that it will stay in place, but can easily be removed & replaced for washing.. Any tips and tricks anyone? Thank you.
They make sheet tightening straps that work pretty well. You can search Amazon and find them. They'll work with either fitted or flat sheets. They pull sheets tight to undersized mattresses.
On the subject of sheets--we found many years ago that using flannel sheets in a camper works great even in hot weather. They never get the clammy feeling that regular sheets can get in high humidity.

Thanks. Ill try the sheet-tightening straps. I've seen them and they seem like a good idea.
I use them in both the house and the Scamp. They work well in both places but in the house I flip the mattress, install the straps and flip it back, but in the Scamp it is hard work to get the straps in place. This results in the sheets not getting washed after every trip.
I found that full size sofa bed sheets (which are hard to find, check the internet or Amazon) fit the Scamp bed perfectly, because the mattress is narrower than a standard mattress. Bed Bath and Beyond has a full size sofa bed mattress cover.
Thanks for the info! I'll post with the magic combo that I find. Meanwhile, the cushions with some padding on top and my sleeping bag are working pretty well. Just want a little more sleeping comfort for longer trips.
