I see on the Scamp Trailer website they have added another option; an entrance grab bar. Does anybody have any pics and or any knowledge they can offer? I'm thinking of adding it on my Scamp 13 order.

Scamp Entrance Grab Bar
That new web page indicates all kinds of changes in the Scamp offerings. The new door shows now on the 5th wheel as well as on the 13s and 16s. The 5th wheel now comes in deluxe version only, with three layouts. That is all for the 2024 models, suggesting that all 2023 production is sold out. Wow!

I was at the Scamp factory today. I live only 75 miles away, I dropped mine off to get the fridge repaired (I hope) and a couple other things. I wandered through the sample Scamps while I was there. Didn't notice any grab bar but I'll be going back next week to pick up my Scamp, I could take some pictures if you want, if any of the models have that feature installed.
Anybody else want a picture of something listed? I could try -

I ordered the newly offered grab bar on my 13' that I picked up in April. The grab bar cost $125. I don't think I have used it yet, but at least it is there if I need it.
Here is a photo pf our setup this March at Massacre Riocks state Park in Idaho. You can see the grab bar next to the door on the left.
Our '19 has it, but it does have a +3 inch lift/bigger wheels so it stands a bit higher than most and works well with the retractable steps...but it is a lifesaver...it helps when your hands are full (entering or exiting), when you have to exit in the middle of the night for a BR break, if you have had a little wine at the campfire, or just woke up in the am and are coming out with your coffee...it really helps with balance and confidence...or something to "grab" as your tripping in or out (lol)..we are selling our '19 (Peoria, IL '19) and have quite a few pics of it (on the Scamp Owners selling page here)...I'llload one
