If anyone has replaced or is going to replace their Catalina 2500 awning I would like to buy some parts from you.
I'm in immediate need of one of the legs that slides down to the ground. Either side will work.
I live in Maine so owners east of the Mississippi are the most practical for shipping purposes.

Someone recently posted they were removing a damaged Catalina 2500 and offering parts before throwing away. Do a search on this or other forums. Even check out the fiberglass RV parts for sale site, they have a parts section.

Personally, I never liked the old Catalina Awnings Scamp had used. I see you have a 13 and I'd recommend you take a look at replacing the awning with a bag awning that is used by pop-ups and most small campers. I used this brand on my 1981 13 Scamp years ago and it was great.

There are many options now in bag type awnings that I'd look at as well.

I just got rid of the Catalina on my recent Scamp 19 redo that needed the same part as you do. I figured that even if I could locate the part and repair it, it was still the Catalina awning which was marginal at best.
Good luck in your hunt, maybe someone will be getting one replaced here and will send you the parts.

Thanks for the information. I know the Catalina is not awesome. However another Scamp owner is sending me both leg assemblies from his awning that he removed. From Nebraska to Maine.
Hopefully I’ll receive them soon and can make my awning whole again.
