Hi folks,
We're picking up our new 13' Standard Scamp in less than three weeks and I'd like to buy or make a rug to protect the floor (not under the full size bed). Does anyone have the measurements of the main rectangle, or would someone be willing to measure theirs?
Thanks much!
Jessica
We will have ours out of the storage space Saturday evening. and can get reasonable measurements. Ours is with Bath if that matters.

Thanks Salukispeed! It shouldn't matter. I'm pretty sure the footprint is the same.

My 13' is just outside the door, getting it prepped for a trip! No bath. 44"x42", or 44"x44" if you want the rug to go up under the kitchen area. The floor curves up under there.

Thanks Rhonda. That is just what I needed. Enjoy your trip!

I came up with the same dimensions + the little space heading out to the door is 24 wide and 9 extending out to the door. Congratulations on the new Scamp

Thanks Salukispeed. 24x9 is smaller than I expected for that area. That would mean the cupbord/closet is only 9" deep?
Enjoy your trip if you are heading out.

Because of the design I wonder if the round shape get smaller at the bottom/floor . also we have the screen door that takes up more space from the door threshold. . The screen it well worth having either way.. Enjoy your Scamp when you get it.

That makes sense. We are getting the screen too. Down here in Carbondale, we are getting eaten alive so I'm looking forward to it.

Ha ha, I am getting a reminder of just how small everything is inside my Scamp while packing for a week! That being said though, between my Jeep and the Scamp I will be able to pack everything I need. Kayak on top of Jeep, and I will jam my bike into the Scamp. I will pad it up very carefully--not to protect the bike but to keep the Scamp interior from getting marred up. I had to put it in there once before during someone else's on-the-road bike rack failure and it rode fine.

Good to know re the bike. Regarding it all being small, our car can't tow anything heavier so I'm not going to complain. Besides, this all started with my life long obsession with Romani vardos (I've been in two authentic wood ones). Those are small too, and perfect in every way, imo. I'm not about to get a horse though. ha ha.
