Hi fellow Scampers,
Am new to SOI but my wife and I purchased a 2015 Scamp 16' new. It was delivered to our home on Christmas Eve 2015. We camp regularly in western VA where we live, as well as up into WV, PA, and NY. Love almost everything about our Scamp. But...
The brackets attaching the awning (factory-installed) to the roof leave about 2" between the roof and awning. Naturally, any time it rains a nice stream from the roof flows into that gap, which is really inconvenient. I don't see why the gap needs to exist. Has anyone else dealt with this or figured out a way to modify so that this doesn't happen? Thanks for your ideas!
The gap is there because the awning is straight, and the RV is curved. I have used a pool noodle as a filler and also have a drip rail on that side
.
Thanks! I had thought about pool noodles also. Will try the drip rail and see if that works.

We too use a small diameter pool noodle to fill the gap once we set up our 2019 -13 We even picked reds one to go along with the decals.
