Blowing 12 volt fuse

2009 16' Scamp.

We are blowing the main 12 volt fuse frequently.

My RV repair guy can't find the short.  Says we are getting 43 amp surges.

Happens whether or not we are plugged into shore power.

Suggestions?

Divide and conquer.

Is the Scamp stock? How old is it? Inside or outside main fuse, and if you can make it happen, pull all of the smaller fuses and see if it happens again. If not install the fuses one at a time until it happens.

Blowing fuses - fixed

Most useful.  Thanks.

When added back, second fuse down blew again, and lights went off.  Checked wires and wire to porch light had a short.  Disconnected that wire, new fuse, and lights and fan working well now, except for the porch light I disconnected.  I can live without it, the wire buried in the wall, not sure I could get to it anyhow.

Thanks for the organized approach.  Nice to have my lights back.

Thanks for the follow up

If your lucky, it may be a water damaged light fixture.
