Glue?

What kind of glue do you all use when installing new insulation and headliner material? Also how much do you think I will need for a 13 footer?

Headliner Glue

John,

This looks like a really good review that might help you. I was leaning towards the 3M products and seems they rank pretty well.

As far as amount I couldn't say not having tackled that one, but you will need to not skimp on the glue. You'll also have the insulation layer to glue and then the headliner material to glue to the insulation, so it will require a fair amount.

I'd see if you have a local supplier on the one you select and then buy an initial supply and run back and get more as needed.

Glue

I had used 3M 77, but later because of the heat here in Arizona, the glue let loose.   I had to redo it with DAP High Temperature Headliner.  I believe the can shows the amount of coverage each can will do.  Figure your square footage and multiply by 4, because you will have to spray the walls, then the Reflectix insulation, then after all is up and dry, you’ll have to spray the Reflectix and the Marine Headliner.  Best of luck.
