He let out a deep breath. "Well," he said to no one in particular, "I'm back."
I got home last Saturday. I was 40 days on the road, drove 9500 miles, visited19 states (not counting re-enties). I stayed at 9 KOAs (1 twice), 1 Sam (twice), two friends,1 city park. I saw lots of big box campers, 3 Casitas, 1 Scamp, 1 something else pulled by a Porsche Boxster convertible. I visited 3 archives, 4 University libraries. I ate in only 8 restaurants.
I went canoeing on the Missouri above Great Falls, MT:
And held a Golden Eagle on my arm in Oklahoma:
All in all, I had a groovy time. I still have to fix the shower (next week back in Virginia).
And I do wish the KOA people would not use so much gravel.

I've enjoyed reading about your trip to the west with your Scamp and seeing your pictures! I hope that next summer I can do more long-term trips.
