The cherished tradition of Festival of Lights began 45 years ago and is a highly anticipated holiday event in Sedona. A full schedule of lively musical entertainment, a visit from Santa, and free cider awaits, making it the perfect outing for families and friends. At the tolling of the bell at 5:00 p.m., the lighting of 6000 luminarias gets underway in Tlaquepaque's courtyards and walkways.

As those who are repeat attenders know, this is a DOG (Disorganized Gathering) and the primary event is the Tlaquepaque Christmas celebration - schedule of events listed in Post #12.
The following is the schedule for the other events at Scamp Camp SW:
Thursday, Dec 7th - Early arrival impromptu meet and greet for a Dutch Dinner at one of the Tlaquepaque hot spots - The Oak Creek Brewery. Great food, awesome brews, good friends. Don't forget the Fudge at the confectioners shop on the way out, Pete n Jackie will lead the way!
Friday, Dec 8th - Gathering officially begins as registration table will be open at the Host trailer and impromptu gatherings. Friday is traditionally free time to go tour World Famous Sedona, AZ and enjoy the Red Rocks.
Saturday, Dec 9th - Trailer tours will begin at 10am. Meet at the central loop firepit. Tlaquepaque Christmas events start at noon and run till late evening.
Sunday, Dec 10th - Head for home to get ready for the Holidays with some new found Christmas spirit.
Official Scamp Camp SW attendee buttons are furiously being made by Earl and his band of Elves.
Dave&Paula will be on site 29 Friday & Sat. night. We will bring our Clam shelter with a heater (since they will not allow our propane fire ring) so that many can gather and get to know one another. Feel free to use it even to gather for morning coffee even if we are sleeping in. Bring small chairs without arms to allow for more room for everybody to gather (if possible). Merry Christmas!
