We just took possession of a new-to-us 2024 13' Standard Scamp. We were only provided a single key for the trailer which works for both the main door paddle handle and the dead bolt. The trailer came equipped with the outside shower which has a lockable access panel. In the process of de-winterizing the trailer I tried to use the main door key to open this access panel but no luck, despite all my efforts.
Can anyone tell me if there is meant to be a separate key for the outside shower door and if so how I might acquire one? The PO has stated there was only ever the one (1) key...
Thanks for any help.
There is a separate key, the door key doesn't work as you discovered. Scamp provided the original owner with 2 sets of door keys and 2 sets of shower keys. Mine is a 2023 and that's what I got. Your trailer is new enough, Scamp should be able to get you more. Maybe using a number on it, maybe using the trailer serial number and looking at the original invoice, etc.

We turned up another main door key this past weekend, and have contacted Scamp Parts Dept. as to sourcing a replacement shower door key. Will advise...
A local locksmith may also be able to get the cylinder (center) piece out too and then key you new keys...

If you can pop the panel open, it would probably be cheaper to replace the lock.

I use the cylinder key locks as they are more secure.

Scamp / Eveland offers spare keys and I made arrangements to have them send me one. They are not listed on the Scamp Parts Shop at this time.
I don't have an outside shower. Why is it important to be able to lock it? Furnace, hot water heater and fridge all have panels that latch but don't lock. I must be missing something.
IDK why it was considered important to have that panel be lockable, but I do know that I'd like to get it open without prying and potentially damaging it. That's kinda tough without the key.
I don't think I'd be one for taking an outdoor shower, but I'd like to do the (dish) washing up outside vs. inside, weather permitting. Those hoses would come in handy for that. For that, I wanted to sanitize the whole fresh water system including those dead legs but couldn't do so without the key.
