I have had issues with my old style door that are not resolvable and I just have lived with the gaps.
So today after talking to Scamp I have decided mounting on of the new "flat" doors is entirely doable.
Building the necessary molds to accommodate the change will be relatively easy and will make a great winter project.
As anyone else thought about this or even attempted it?
I redid the floor on my scamp and in doing that I realized that the aluminum door edging on the floor was sticking too far out, I also removed the metal bottom corner slider on the door. After this my door now seals properly on all sides with no gaps! Not sure this would help you but this helped remove a substancial 1+ finger gap at the bottom of my door.
