Gutted Scamp 13

Newbie here and just this side of computer illiterate, to  boot! I bought a 1981 Scamp 13 with lots of issues. I've been reading how important it is to replace old rivets and missing caps. There are lots of rivet holes and I can see some spidering but worse still is there are water stains on the felt covered walls, inside. Problem is this trailer was gutted of all but the closet next to the door and molded fiberglass pieces on the floor, fore & aft. I may or may not want to add top & bottom side cabinets in the future but for now what do I do with all these faulty rivets that aren't holding anything on? There are no water tanks, hose bibs or vents any where except one 14"x14" new vent on the roof. I hope I can find any answers to this inquiry you nice folks may leave! Any "how to navigate" this site would also be appreciated!

Congrats

My first trailer was a 1981 13 rebuild although not as rough as yours sounds. The very first issue you need to confront is very important structural support. There are three major structural items in a SCAMP 13. The closet, which you indicate is present. An aluminum stiffener bar on the interior, front side of the entry door, and the upper and lower kitchen cabinets with interconnected wrought iron support bar. You indicate the drivers side kitchen cabinets are missing. This will lead to roof sag and improper entry door alignment if not corrected. Depending on how long they have been missing, this may involve having to carefully jack the roof while reinstalling the missing kitchen cabinetry. Do you have the upper and lower kitchen cabinets?

Until you resolve the major structural items, not really worth looking at anything else.

Greg A thanks for replying. I

Greg A thanks for replying. I have no interior cabinets other than what's still installed. I think I may already have sagging issues as the door is seriously out of alignment. I thought it was because of the hinges that are pretty funky looking. It takes a good slam to shut it. I don't see any kind of a pole or brace next to the door or by where the driver side cabinets would have been. I'm starting to get that sinking feeling...no pun intended.
