We are going to be heading out for a couple of months in our Scamp this winter, and wanted to get the bed comfort squared away. Planned on slapping in a 2-3" foam topper, but found that Zinus is clearing out their 5" Biofusion Mattress's for $31 shipped to your door. Best deal we have seen by a long shot. Thought I would share with you fellow Scampers. Not sure how long the deal will last. Use an electric knife to "Cut" the shape using the cushions as a template, and double sided iron on patches to re-secure the cover.
Hi- Just wanted to say be careful with the Zinus mattresses - they, like some other mattress brands, are made in China, and may have a lot of chemicals in them. For those of us who are sensitive to smells and off-gassing, just be careful and do a bit of research first.

Those topper mattress are just ok. For a really good night sleep a custom mattress is best. I had the same mattress I use at home custom made by Texas Mattress Maker for about $450.00 It is a full 10 inch mattress and I sleep like a baby. Great idea! - sounds like a good solution. I think there are also some good dense foam mattresses that are made for vehicles, vans, campers, etc. that can also be cut to size. Just a matter of finding what you like and what is environmentally safe and healthy.
