Help!
I'm still learning th electrical system to my 1987, 13' Scamp.
My battery is reading 26V directly across the terminals when it is not connected to the tow vehicle.
What gives?
Bad converter? Where is that thing anyway?

I'm an idiot. Make sure your volt meter is turned to DCV not ACV.

As long as you are learning, you are not an idiot - when you stop, it is a different story. Have fun!
That converter is under the bench seat on the left (port) side, I think it is the same on all models.
