Hello we are new Scamponians (if that the correct term. Lol) thanks for adding us. My husband had been wanting a Scamp for quite some time and finally he was in the right place at the right time.  He picked up a 13' that we believe is an 1981 or 1982 model and paid a whopping $500.  The catch is that it is gutted.  All the windows are there and door, plus the upper kitchen cabinets.  So a fixer upper to say the least.  I will admit I wasn't pleased with the purchase as we have plenty of other projects ...but I think I am starting to get a "vision".  Lol.

We will look to you all for guidance bringing her back to life.  And we will probably come up to Scamp Camp next month.  :)

Thanks in advance for any advice/input!

Welcome

Hi Shar,

Congrats on your find. My first 13 Scamp was an 81 project and we loved it.Check at the top of the Maintenance and Modifications forum for the index and table of contents. There is already a wealth of information in there for you on projects, etc.

Keep us posted, and we love pics.

Shar, we are also newbies, however, you have a Scamp in hand. We, Cheryl and I will be at Scamp West, as guests. Hope to see you there.

Mark
