I have lurked around this group for some time but just today joined. I would like to thank everyone for the information posted. I recently sold my Jayco 33 foot 5th wheel and Ford F-350 to down size.
The information here has helped me to place the order for my new 16’ Scamp Deluxe. The Scamp factory builds a great product, but it is hard to find ALL of the information needed to place an order in one place. Option lists on line and in print are not the same, and some of the items that I wanted were only listed in the parts department list. (Like LED lights and reading lamps). AC0GV (yes that’s a ham radio call and the round thing in the middle is a zero.)
Badgers are coming out of the woodwork! Speaking of which, did you order the oak or the birch?
I am a big fan of oak, but I took one look at the birch and had to have it.
My sister just got a 1987 13 foot deluxe that has birch, still looks very nice.

LED lights are better done after market so you can get the temperature that you want and not expensive to do. See the LED light article in the solar resource section.
We have lots of SOI members with recently ordered/picked up Scamps so just ask any questions you may have and someone will be able to answer.
