We went to Backus and camped for 2 nights last week, June 6&7. We really enjoyed the factory tour and our first camping trip in our new to us Scamp. Met some really nice folks from Oklahoma at the campground picking up a new 13. Thanks very much for buying us the ice cream. We ended up buying an AC and a new door seal that was recommended on SOI. The temperature both mornings was 36 degrees. The two things I would recommend to bring with you when picking up your new Scamp are a small electric heater, (makes less noise) and coupler flap safety pin. It was a great 1st trip. Happy Scamping!

Went to Scamp factory last week.
Welcome to,the fun club house! We are now in Eureka Springs on one of our vacations this year. You are bound for many wonderful journeys, just as we have. Make your Scamp yours! Mod it to your liking, and most of all...have fun. Good move on the AC!

Hi DPS. Finally got my login setup. My brother and I really enjoyed visiting with you and your wife. Glad you liked the ice cream, I know we sure did. Actually, we are from Nebraska. It was an 8 hour drive back home, and the new Scamp 13 towed beautifully. Didn't even know it was back there.
It sure was cold up there. Glad we ordered that furnace! We could use some of that cold now, been 7 days in a row in the high 90's.
Hopefully my wife and I will meet up with you guys sometime in the future. Lee
