Does anyone know the weight of the Fiamma awning on the 13' Scamp. I am considering deleting the awning from my order and buying an EZup canopy. The canopy weighs 61lbs so if the awning is lighter I may rethink.

He says the weight of the 8' Fiamma awning with hardware is "about" 50 lbs/

Consider that having a separate canopy or a screen tent may be an advantage sometimes. On some trips we bring along our very old screen tent. It weighs about 16 pounds and rides in the Scamp on the floor.

Paul, thanks for your experience. WOW, a 17 lb screen tent. I just ordered a 10'x10' canopy and it supposedly weighs approx 50 lbs without the weight of the screen walls.
