We are in the SF Bay area. I have seen Scamps on the road but have never gotten a close look. What's the best way to learn more about Scamp? We are interested in either the 13 or 16. I see that there is a gathering in Quincy in September. Would this be worth a visit as far as learning about Scamp or is this more of a closed event?

You have come to the right place. Although the Nor Cal Roundup in Quincy, in September, is full, VISITORS AND LOOKERS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME. We have 35 trailers confirmed for this gathering with many different makes and models to view. I think most owners would be more than willing to share and show. (We welcome any brand of molded fiberglass trailers.) The attendance list shows 3 - 13' Scamps; 4 - 16' Scamps (both standard and deluxe); 1 Scamp 19' 5er; 5 or 6 Casita 17', and a couple Casita 16'; and the new 21', and 5.0TA Escapes. Hi Terry,
You might want to contact the Scamp office (880-346-4962) and let them know you are a prospective customer and would like to see a Scamp trailer near you. They will give you a list of owners who are willing to show their Scamp trailer. I bought my Scamp 16 last year and was able to connect with a Scamp owner who owns the exact model I wanted, and was able to see it before I placed my order. Their customer service is very helpful.
BTW, I am also in the Bay Area, and our Scamp 16 is parked on our property in Napa. I would be willing to show it to you if we can work it out.
